The Operational Problem
Blitzit needed more than a brochure site. Participants and families required always-on access to plan information, while staff needed cleaner digital pathways for onboarding, invoices, and day-to-day service communication.
The project had to combine secure participant access, external data integration, and practical self-service tools in one coherent experience. The site also needed to support ongoing publishing of case studies, blog stories, and news updates with Blitzit's external media partner.
Why Off-The-Shelf Failed
Standard NDIS website templates could not provide a robust participant portal linked to supplier data, or deliver reliable workflows for invoice submission and direct participant registration without heavy manual admin.
What We Engineered
Programmable Soda designed and developed a custom Blitzit portal connected to third-party supplier data, giving participants secure login access to live plan balance and spending visibility at any time. We implemented invoice upload workflows so participants can submit documents directly through the website, and added a dedicated online registration pathway for new participants. Beyond the portal, we built structured content areas for case studies and integrated editorial workflows so Blitzit and its third-party media company can publish blog and news content consistently.
